Please stand with us in a group "Photo for Peace"!:
On March 1 at noon at Evergreen Park in Bremerton, we will gather with as many friends and neighbors as possible to create a photo image of our community standing together to say that We Want Peace.

The photo will be reproduced on 6" x 9" color postcards which we can use to send a message of peace to our world community.

Recent group Photos for Peace were taken in Kingston and on Bainbridge Island.
More than 1500 people participated in the Bainbridge photo.

This will be a county wide photo and and we are making preparations for at least 2000 participants.
If you've been in the Kingston or Bainbridge photos please consider being in this photo, too.

On the day of the photo-shoot you will be able to place orders for postcards to be picked up about two weeks later.

There will also be music (from Jim Page and other friends) and community information tables.

Children are welcome. There's a great playground in the park. And they'll have an opportunity to send their own message to President Bush.

Bring a lunch to share for a picnic in the park!

The photo will be taken rain or shine, so umbrellas should be packed along with the picnics.

Help spread the word by sending this e-mail message along to your friends.

And please contact us if you're able to be help with organizing this event.

Parking is available at Evergreen Park and at the Wheaton Way end of the Olympic Community College parking lot.
